On 31st July 2007, our customer, John Topham, photographed a Hornby's Storm-petrel during the boat trip to La Plata Island. It is a rare visitor to Ecuadorian waters, and this bird is the northern-most ever recorded in Ecuador. It landed next to the boat and John got these pictures with a small point-and-click camera.
